Who handles information
Jason Step is responsible for the personal information described here. For questions or requests, email admin@undertorque.com.
Messages you send
If you email us, we receive your email address, name if supplied, message and any attachments. We use these to answer questions, discuss feedback and understand interest in the project. Please do not send customer records or sensitive personal information. Our legitimate interest is responding to people who contact the project and developing it from relevant feedback. You may object to this use by contacting us.
Retention
Ordinary enquiries are deleted from the active mailbox within 12 months after the last contact. Where a continuing conversation needs the information, it is kept while that conversation remains relevant and reviewed when it ends. Records required to resolve a dispute or meet a legal obligation may be kept for that purpose. Hosting or email-provider backup copies can remain after active records are deleted.
Website operation
The showcase contains no enquiry form, payments, advertising trackers, analytics scripts or session-replay tools. Its application code does not set cookies. Your browser sends connection and request information, including an IP address, when loading pages. Hosting services may keep access and error records for operation, security and troubleshooting. Linked account and product sites are separate services with their own data handling.
Hosting and email services
The website is hosted with Squidix, a United States-based provider. Hosting and email services process information needed to deliver pages and messages, and may retain service logs and backups. Provider storage and access can involve locations outside the UK. This notice does not promise that all provider copies are deleted on the active-mailbox schedule.
Your choices and rights
You can ask for access to your information, correction, deletion or restricted use, and object to use based on legitimate interests. Other rights may apply depending on the processing. Email admin@undertorque.com; we may need to confirm your identity. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner's Office.
Updates
This notice will change if the project introduces new ways of collecting information or becomes a commercial service. Updated 11 October 2026.
